Overwatch ble tatt med som ny konkurranse i år grunnet høy etterspørsel i undersøkelsen sendt ut tidligere i sommer. Vi har reservert 3000kr av premiepotten som tildeles vinneren av den mest populære compoen. Dette er for å sikre at premietildelingen blir så rettferdig som mulig. We are happy to announce the three main competitions of TrøndeLan 2016; Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Overwatch. Information about prizes, competition format and rules will be announced as soon as they are decided. We will also be hosting some smaller competitions that will be decided by popular demand. More info about this will be released shortly.
During Trøndelan 2015, we were plagued by power outages. Earth fault breakers went off constantly, and despite troubleshooting for hours, the crew was not able to solve the problem. The electricians responsible for the venue have since changed the earth fault breakers to ones with a tolerance of 200mA. We have been told that this change should solve the problems we have been having at previous events.
Following feedback from Trøndelan 2015, we have decided to allocate pize money based on the popularity of the different tournaments that will be held this year. The current prize pool is currently 30 000 NOK and the allocation will happen continuously.
Sign up and ticket sales have now opened for TrøndeLAN 2016. The LAN party will take place the 21st of October in Autronicahallen. For more info, see this link.

We've made a short list of things we recommend you bring along with you tomorrow, and also a few rules for you to follow. Here's the list:

Tickets if you haven't prepaid

• Sleeping bag, pillow, slippers/woolen socks, stuff for personal hygiene
